Qld: Queensland's swine flu toll rises to 25
BRISBANE, Aug 17 AAP - A 53-year-old man has become Queensland's 25th patient with
swine flu to die.
The man died at Logan Hospital, south of Brisbane, on Saturday, Queensland Health confirmed
on Monday.
Queensland Health said 111 people confirmed with human swine flu are in hospital, with
32 in intensive care.
There are another 14 probable, unconfirmed swine flu cases in intensive care.
The man was a patient in the so-called vulnerable group.
The category includes indigenous people of all ages, pregnant women, those with respiratory
disease, heart disease, diabetes, renal and liver disease, obesity and immunosuppression.
