Sinclair classes open Some seniors may monitor for free

DAYTON -- The College for Seniors at Sinclair Community Collegewill begin Monday and run through March 20.

Classes from the credit curriculum will offered on the main campusin downtown Dayton, at the neighborhood college centers and seniorcitizen and community sites.

Senior citizens age 60 and older and holders of Golden Buckeyecards may audit college classes tuition free.

Seniors must register in person during the audit/golden ageregistration by today.

Seniors may not register by telephone.

Students at senior citizen and community sites must register atthe site before today. Membership at the host site may be required toregister.

Enrollment is on a space available basis.

Courses include: Hitler Part I, Westward Movement, EuropeanHistory, Japanese History, Philosophical Issues, Utopian Societies,Historical Political Campaigns, Music Appreciation, PersonalComputers, Painting, Aerobics, Physical Fitness, Beginning Dance,Country/Western Dance, Soulful Line Dance and Swimming.

Sinclair Senior Academy's quarterlong classes cost $45 for thefirst course and $20 for each additional course during the samequarter.

Senior Academy courses begin the week of Jan. 10.

Registrations are being accepted.
